Round 2 went off in pure sunshine at Twisted Oaks Bike Park near Ipswich.
After 2 weeks of pure rain the heavens were in our favour as come comp day the sun came out and dried the awesome new jump line at Twisted Oaks out ready for the riders to shred and put down their top runs.
It was awesome to see some of the old DW riders turn up to judge, spectate and even jump on the comp and put down a podium run after 9 years away from Dirt Wars, Tom Cardy it was a pleasure to have you back along with Cam Crozier (Judge) and Darren Estall along to spectate.
With 28 riders in Open/AM and only 12 qualifing spots in the final you could see the Open/AM riders were getting their game heads on from the very start of practice ready to throw down their runs to ensure a spot in the final

With the Open/AM riders done and dusted the Pro/Elite riders hit the course and boy did they come out swinging. It was awesome to see the Old boys Tom Cardy and Freddy Pulman going toe to toe and still showing the young guns how its done.
